DIY: ribbons & rhinestones braided bracelet or choker

Easy Project! Just follow the photos!

Knot one end and cut to desired length. I used multiple ribbons, a silver chain, a black chain, and a strand of gold prong set rhinestones.

Braid it. Tie a knot at the other end.

Trim the excess, leaving one chain long on the end. Attach the clasp with pliers and a jump ring onto the short end of chain. The long end of chain will give you options for length when wearing it as a necklace.

Wear it as a choker OR double wrap it as a bracelet!

I’ll love you even more, if you do!!

Kumihimo + Garnet = Perfection!

So today, I wrapped a stone for the first time ever.
I used 16 gauge wire around my Almandine Garnet from to wear as a pendant on the Kumihimo necklace that my 13 year old daughter, Caroline aka “Cali,” made for me.
This is absolutely a favorite piece of jewelry, now.
Sacred Adornment?

This piece isn’t for sale, but SageGoddess has more gemstones and ALMANDINE GARNETS available on her website, and CraftingCali has other KUMIHIMO available in her Etsy store!

SACRED ADORNMENT Quartz Memory Wire Bracelet

Here is a Quartz memory wire bracelet I made recently. Athena ( mentioned in one of her listings/posts that she chooses jewelry (sacred adornment) based on intent and the energy shifting process of selecting which jewelry will get worn each day. I totally relate. Jewelry is my thing! This bracelet mentally easily transports me to feeling as if I belong in either of the spaces/rooms shown! 遲 (I don’t sell jewelry; I only make it in my spare time for myself and daughters to wear.) 綽

What do you think? This one is a fun one for me!
